Advance Football as a program has come from the grass roots of football in Australia. Trevor Edwards principal coach of Advance Football has been coaching young players on the Sunshine Coast for the past thirteen years in both Football and Futsal.

Football and Futsal are both a passion for Trevor and he sees the vast benefits of developing young players in both forms of the game.  Comments from many parents about Trevor's impact on their children’s development has prompted him to establish a program that has a focus on the development of personal skills, ball mastery and core areas of the physical development. Trevor is a FFA accredited youth coach and also has his FFA Futsal Level 1 and Level 2 accreditation as well as an International Futsal Coaching Course recognised by FIFA through the Brazilian Football School.  He has a current Blue Card for working with children.

The World Game is in a huge growth sport at the moment in Australia and we must provide a platform at the grass roots that will increase the technical standards of future stars.  Trevor has worked in the youth area for over two decades and has an excellent understanding of what is important for youth motivation, disipline and football development.

His is currently coaching one of the Youth sides at Buderim Wanderers and is also the Regional Development Officer for Sunshine Coast Futsal Association.  He is the Current Coach for Football Queensland 14 Boys Queensland Futsal Team.

The sessions that we do help all levels of players develop technique and identify keys are of learning required to build a competent player.  Trevor and his staff are involved not only at the grass roots level but also at the beginning stages of development.  The Squirts program is a Football Queensland sanctioned program and is aimed at the 3 to 5 years olds.  Ball coordination and the very basics of football are worked on with the emphasis on fun play and learning to take directions from the coach.
